Next Monday, October 17, we invite you to the monastery in Węgrów for a conference summarizing the over two-year partnership between Poland and Ukraine, between the former monastery parish in Węgrów and the Archdiocese of Lviv. This collaboration was possible thanks to the Cross-Border Cooperation Program CBC Program Poland-Belarus-Ukraine. During the meeting, we will talk about what we managed to do together, as well as about the new challenges that emerged after the armed attack on Ukraine by the Russian Federation. All these activities were possible thanks to the social commitment of many inhabitants of Węgrów, especially the young generation.
The culmination of the meeting will be a concert performed by Bożena Worono, a Polish woman from Lida in Belarus. This young and extremely talented singer has extensive stage experience:
- winner of the "Mam Talent" competition in 2015;
- distinguished for stage personality at the International Festival in Opole 2021;
